Tuesday marks the one month anniversary for the forum and despite it being an absolute wretched month for the team, I couldn't happier about this new forum.
First I would like to thank the poster that made it all possible, set the thing up and asked me to be the moderator. Thanks brother! Secondly I would like to thank each and every poster for embracing this as you have. My "job" as a moderator has been the easiest I have ever had in my life by far. I have deleted a grand total of 1 post which was either spam or an American pig style post and have only had one post reported which turned out to be a click error.
Even though everyone is probably not in the best of moods given how the team is playing, everyone has been respectful even when disagreeing. As I always say, "it's easy to be nice and it's nice to be easy" Let's keep that as they mantra going forward. btw I checked out the old forum and it is two full pages of spam despite almost no legit posts, more proof that the bots don't discriminate based on traffic on a site. I don't miss the trolls and the pretend ex Major leaguer fraud/racism accuser either.

Party will be on June 22nd this year. It is a home game at 1:10pm so the party will start a bit earlier than normal at noon. We play the O's so might even have a shot at winning!
Would love to see some new faces. Don't be nervous about going to a party where you have never met anyone in person, the second you arrive you will know that you are among good friends! Everyone that has ever come is happy they did and almost all end up coming multiple years.
Bring whatever you would like bring. It always works out and we end up having a great feast. Hope to see you all here!

Crud, I have to miss it yet again. I was hoping to have a summer weekend up there for myself but the girlfriend decided she wanted us to go up there for July 4th weekend so there goes that.
