Not sure if this is in another thread or not, but here’s an interesting article of why King Felix should be in the HoF:

No personal bias here, but I’d argue he belongs there.

And BBWAA Anthony Castrovince predicts Julio will be the AL MVP next season:

This says we are in on him:

It says he is more of a natural outfielder. So, sign him to play 3B since our outfield is currently crowded. Give Williamson some time at 3B as well and let Okamoto DH a little.

If Williamson figures out how to hit at the major league level, then move Okamoto to the outfield the season after next when Arozarena’s contract is up and play Williamson at 3B moving forward. If not, keep Okamoto at 3B and send Williamson back down to figure it out. Or not.

This seem like a no brainer to me.

This thread is officially moot.

Since the Okamoto dream is dead and warmed over, maybe we can dream about getting Bo Bichette. This would seem to be the last big move for the Jays this offseason. Bichette is dangling.

It will never happen, but might as well talk about this instead of how we missed out on Okamoto… :?

I don't think the Blue Jays will sign Bo now that they have Okamoto. I think I read somewhere that they're moving Gimenez over to short and they like Clement better at 2B. This could push Bo to sign with the Yankees, who could then make Jazz available. There's already been talk about Jazz this offseason, that the Yankees were exploring trading him. I would say if they sign Bo, then Jazz will very likely be on the block. However, one alternate to that course of action could be making Volpe available and keeping Jazz.
