Julio hit 362 with an Ops over 1,000 in Arkansas and Emerson hit 282 with an Ops of 790 but sure some Scouts pretend they are super smart and say that he's more advanced for some b******* ambiguous intangible reason
That is like comparing apples and bikini clad girls. Of course Julio had a much higher OPS, he was a physically bigger prospect than Colt is. You just can't make a meaningful comparison between the 2 players.

I don't get your point. Comparing OPS with OPS is not meaningful? And is "physically bigger" not a meaningful comparison?

Just give him time...

Maybe he'll grow into Julio's body.

Is that the plan? What exactly are we excited about if he can't put up numbers because he's a shrimp?

Speed and defense? Lol.

He is an averaged sized guy at 6'0" 200 lbs. He isn't getting any bigger. He put on quite a bit of weight a couple off seasons ago but wasn't comfortable playing at that weight so lost it all. We are probably looking at Kyle Seager with a higher BA and less power.

btw how did Ichiro ever hit over .300 given he was a shrimp?? He makes Emerson seem like Aaron Judge...

Colt has big thighs which should transfer into more power as he gains experience and he should continue to fill in and hopefully not as fat as Seager. Kyle was basically overweight later in his career who ran very slowly even compared to his brother Corey who had a similar frame to colt. I hope he’s not Kyle

Emerson's size isn't the limiting factor on his power output. It's more to do with his swing path and approach to hitting.

Agree. The biggest question is if he needs to sacrifice contract to produce more power. A .350 OBP with 20-25 HRs should be the goal....

Kyle put up 37 bWAR. That would be a pretty good outcome.....

People tend to not understand this. A productive major league career like Kyle Seager's is almost a miracle. No, it isn't HOF, but any prospect that gives you that outcome is a massive success.
