The bottom line is that there's absolutely no reason for Refsnyder and Canzone to be out of the game that early and Bliss getting the big at-bats late in the game. I mean, we saw it turned out, he turned in two totally unprofessional at-bats. He couldn't even come close to making a viable attempt at a bunt.

Between that and leaving a struggling Bazardo in to pitch to Kwan, while you can't say as an absolute that Wilson cost the team the game, he might well have cost the team the game last night with his really dumb decisions that he continues to make. Hard to believe that a guy who manned the plate for the Mariners for that long can be dumber than us shlubs on our couches.

I don't think I'm hitting Refsnyder lead-off either

Red Sux fans swear up and down that he totally rakes left-handed pitching and three of the last four seasons his OPS against lefties has been .941, .959 and 1.005. It's just a matter of we got that guy (even adjusting for T-Mobile), or if we got him one year too late and he's going to go Pollock/Solano on us. We definitely need to give him at-bats until we find out.
