How do you go from hitting 60 home runs to total offensive dope

He just is not a good hitter. He had one big year. He does not belong at the top of the order. This lineup needs change badly

The Mariners are now 0-17 pinch-hitting this season and not one of those appearances has even resulted in a hard-hit ball. Yet Wilson continues to take our better hitters out of the game early and replace them with guys who not only are terrible, they then have to have a second hitless AB later in the game.

Rivas' two ABs tonight: looked at strike one and strike two right down the middle and then struck out on a pitch way out of the strike zone. And this is a little guy who chokes up on the bat. He had a huge hit for us in Game 5 against the Tigers but he can't be on this team any more.
