Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!
What the hell has gotten into our pinch hitting? I guess if they're going to hit .150 that means if they go 0-17 then we can expect three straight hits.
Good for Ref today, I guess we shouldn't DFA him just yet. And Joe with a big double, that's the beauty of the game, now and then your scrubs will come through, like Rivas yesterday.
By the way, I wonder what that ump thought he saw on that foot-off-the-plate strike 3 to Ref that was overturned. It's not like that pitch was breaking across the plate.

So glad that we will almost never have games decided by blatant incompetence calling balls and strikes again. These HP umps do Call 250-300 pitches a game so of course they are going to miss a few that are less than an inch in the zone or off the plate but ones like that are just inexcusable and should not decide games.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2026 1:39 amMariners win! Oh, wait ...First game ending overturned call
Baty dropped his bat and started to take off his batting gloves as he headed toward first after Blakney called ball four on a bases-loaded, full-count sinker on the outside corner. Only Colorado catcher Brett Sullivan tapped his helmet for an appeal, and the automated ball-strike system changed the pitch to a called third strike for the inning's final out.
Instead of moving ahead 1-0, the Mets never led all day as they were swept. The Rockies won the nightcap 3-0 for a three-game series sweep, sending the Mets to their 15th loss in 17 games

Just wait until the World Series ends on an ABS challenge. Hell, last year we almost had it end on what could have been an overturned call when Will Smith almost took his foot off the plate early.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2026 2:24 pmOh, wait ...First game ending overturned callBaty dropped his bat and started to take off his batting gloves as he headed toward first after Blakney called ball four on a bases-loaded, full-count sinker on the outside corner.
