Can anyone name this potential trade target for the M's?
Hint: He's currently in the final year of his contract for a perennial AWFUL team, but has a $12M club option for next season.

Agreed, he's apparently one of those guys who can be great for one inning, but awful for five.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2026 8:00 pmSenzatela.
Not really a turn around as much as a role change. He moved to the bullpen from the rotation.
Wow, had never heard his name in my life so I wouldn't have guessed it if I had 1000 guesses.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2026 8:11 pmAgreed, he's apparently one of those guys who can be great for one inning, but awful for five.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2026 8:00 pmSenzatela.

I could easily see Castillo going to the pen and succeeding. He can throw 99-100 when he lets it loose. Castillo used to be able to sustain velo... but he can't anymore.
Yep all the data points to just that.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2026 2:34 amI could easily see Castillo going to the pen and succeeding. He can throw 99-100 when he lets it loose. Castillo used to be able to sustain velo... but he can't anymore.
