Shed Long was an organizational top 10/15 type when we acquired him a good not great prospect in about 40 games he put up a .263 .333 .454 .787 113OPS+ line #8 for our team back in 2018. He does not look like he could be a superstar but solidly above average 2nd base is not nothing. He looks like a decent hitter for average, a better than average OBP boost, decent power, and decent speed game, added to + arm at 2B. He looks to have a high floor and reminds me a bit of JP in that respect.
To rebuild the M's the M's need to hit on a few superstars and have most other roster spots taken up by solid to good players.
