The format of the playoffs is perfect. Best of 3, Best of 5, 2 x Best of 7 and you get a bye if you finish as best 2 teams in regular season. Cannot fault this.

NFL is also spot on but NBA and NHL goes on forever.

I will watch plenty of these games. Good coverage over here. My preference is for the Cubs to prevail. An all Chicago WS will be good.

Unfortunately, the Brewers have the Seattle curse on them which 56 years after leaving they still haven't shaken. Although unlike the other Seattle team at least they have one pennant.

Just watched Jhoan Duran shred the Braves.

He is the guy we should have traded for which probably cost us the WS last season. 3.4 WAR 1.82 ERA 1.42 FIP this season.

That's the difference between wanting to win and doing what it takes to win. Should have blown the Twins away with a top prospect.

Phillies got him for Mick Abel who at age 24 pitched 20 innings in the big leagues this season....3.98 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP

Austin Riley with a go-ahead 3 run HR off Duran in bottom of 8th gives the Braves the first game 5-3. Forum jinx strikes even when we aren’t playing DT.

Since this format came in 15 of 16 times the winner of game 1 progresses.

In other news, the Astros have pulled Hunter Brown in the 1st as he allows 4 (3 Earned) on 5 hits. He faced all 9 and only retired two.
