Bruce to Phillies
Re: Bruce to Phillies
Here is a little tidbt from one of the articles:
Mariners are deep in sell mode. “Trying to trade everyone,” as one rival put it. Beyond Bruce, also talking about Encarnacion, Healy, Gordon, Beckham, Leake, etc. Talks said to be “ongoing” with Phillies on Bruce.

Re: Bruce to Phillies
Bruce for Nick Williams would make sense. A) Bruce is more valuable than dopes like Jason Churchill would like to believe and B) Williams is a classic change of scenery guy.

UPDATE:MLB: Phillies expected to finalize deal for Mariners OF Jay Bruce within 24 hours
Re: Bruce to Phillies
What is left if they sell everyone on this list over then next 2 months. Leake is the short timer So still have Marco G, Kikuchi, LeBlanc ( I don't know why you would keep him or why a contender would want him)Felix, Swanson, Justice S, Dunn,Hanjag wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 5:18 amHere is a little tidbt from one of the articles:

C Narvaez
1B Healy was on the go list but is still cheap and has versatility. White is in AA and not having a good year, Curletta had a .700 OPS in AAA and is gone so an upper minors prospect 1B might look good in trade returns
DH VBach
2B Shed Long
SS JP Crawford
3B Seager (Unless he is killing it he has an albatross contract.)
OF Haniger, Domingo, Mallex, BB

"A deal’s close to the finish line, “pending a review of Bruce’s medicals and other final details,” Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic tweets. The Mariners will receive cash savings and a minor leaguer in return, Rosenthal adds."

Jim Salisbury reporting:Hearing the Jay Bruce deal is complete. Not out of question he is in Dodger Stadium for series finale today. Phillies need win to avoid sweep.
So its officially done. We just don't know what we got in return yet. MLBTraderumors says it's a low Minor League Prospect, and that Philly is taking on the majority of the remaining contract. WIN!!!!!!!!
In other news:Sources tell me the Mariners are acquiring outfielder John Andreoli from the Twins.
The 28-year-old (29 next week) hit .196/.324/.359 in 43 games with Triple-A Rochester this season. He made his big league debut with Seattle last season. CC: @LookoutLanding
Welcome back John.
