Wow, Mitch...

2 outs, tying runs on base, and you're supposed to be the guy we want to see at the plate. Supposed to be a good player getting better and better.... What the hell...
He's getting into Zunino territory.

This would be way easier if the Astros would drop some of those routine flyballs and popups.

Amazing that last run is earned. The throw easily beat him and on a play like that the official scorer can call it an error as well as a fielder's choice. Speaking of which, the number of unearned earned runs (if that makes any sense) the defense has given up this season is astronomical.

Glad Shed Long showed up tonight. He just might have a future.

LeBlanc with an awesome game tonight. No guarantees, but if he had started we might well have seen a complete game 2-1 victory. Or not really, Servais would have brought in Gearrin to close and then he would have given up those three runs. Never mind.

LeBlanc needs to go the official scorer and make him change that run to an unearned run and throw his defense under the bus. Seriously, DO IT.

And to think I thought the opener was a good idea. Maybe it was. LeBlanc went 8 3 hits 1 run 1 BB. The opener got lit up so another loss. sighhhhhhhs

That Narvaez play.

They are just not playing smart focused baseball. Some games they get called for three errors and it should have been 5. I have played catcher and ran up the first base line and got the errant throw and contributed outs and saved bases by hustle. You don't do that with a runner on 3rd. and really actually 2nd base to.

He must have been thinking they had the double play but there was no way. At least it will be in the MLB blooper reels for years to come.

Some new Mariner history tonight, bad and good: the bad being the throw home to no catcher which was the first time in Mariner and possibly even MLB history, and the good being LeBlanc having the longest relief appearance for a Mariner, eight innings. Bryan Clark held the previous record at 7 2/3. Really shocking considering you wouldn't expect anyone anywhere to pitch eight innings in relief in 2019.
