Lynda was always the gracious hostess at the forum parties. I will miss that fun time.

The great Joey Chestnut broke his world record today. Downed 75 dogs and buns in 10 minutes. That's about 17 pounds of food!

Re: Happy Independence Day
I heard a interesting thing about Joey Chestnut. He has loads of records in eating all different types of foods, and spends a good amount of time at various conventions in Vegas/Reno wherever.
At the Vegas seafood convention, for a made-up example, he'll participate in the crab legs eating championship. Not long after demolishing his competition and eating an ungodly amount of crab legs, he will be spotted at one of the casino buffets, loading up a plate and eating a normal meal.
Apparently, at the highest levels of competitive eating, it's customary to do a massive, thorough purge afterward to prevent long term damage. This purge is so thorough and tiring, the competitive eater gets hungry and needs to eat "for real."

Good lord. I used to have a bulimic GF. I can't fathom how people can make themselves puke. It would be like poking my finger in my eye for me.Millikin wrote: ↑Sat Jul 04, 2020 8:20 pmI heard a interesting thing about Joey Chestnut.
