Vogey at first base today. Why in the hell isn't he playing everyday at 1B. Are they afraid he will make an error and ruin the team's chance of the fewest errors on a season record???

Probably ad much about EE trade value. If EE is a DH, there are maybe 2 teams that would trade for him. If he's a 1B, then 10 teams may be interested.

He has played 1B almost every game and is listed as the 9th most valuable 1B in baseball.

I guess they can wait until he is traded but I think teams know he can play 1B by now and another 30-40 games there isn't going to affect his value. Maybe they have given up on the Vogey 1B notion completely

Maybe. I think they see vogey as a DH only in the future.
