The player doesn't have to just be fat or out of shape to be a DH. That's what its there for.
"I resemble that comment", says Daniel Vogelbach.

Lol, If Vogelbach could've found his 2019 Pre All-Star game stroke, then maybe, but even there's a chance Jerry moves him at this deadline for more than what we got from the Blue Jays.

This is the most mind boggling trade I have ever seen.

Preller-Dipoto trade alert! (Because evidently, Sunday's 7-player blockbuster was not enough.)

The Padres got RHP Taylor Williams just before the Deadline, sources say. PTBNL heading to Seattle.

Wow, so the Padres saw that total meltdown by Williams and Altavilla and said, "Man, we have GOT to get those two". Exponentially even more baffling than the Hawks signing Blair Walsh.

Hahaha! I'll take it. Williams was our best remaining reliever. If Jerry gets something of value for Taylor, kudos to him for pulling it off at the last second.

I once broke up with a girl and went the GFTBNL route.

An encouraging FanGraphs analysis of Seattle's acquired players:

From your link Harmony, I watched the entire Trammell vid.
Flip him. Trade him. Get what you can out of him.

His bat speed is a little slow.
Worse, he's got a loop in his swing. Meaning, his bat comes through the prime strike plane like a smiley faced emoji.
Bat MUST be on a straight plane! That plane can be straight and level. The plane can be with a slight loft but it will never work with a loop.

It can be corrected but right now it's a serious flaw; it means he's got a dip in his hands and/or elbows once he strides and 'explodes' from the load but even his explodes is too hesitant.
As much as I love emojis, I had smiley face, loopy swings. And again, I see poor bat speed. The loop will lead to strikeouts, pop outs and weak grounders facing MLB pitching.

That is my assessment of Mr. Trammell.

Wow, remember when Ian was actually a prospect in our system. We have traveled a million miles in just a couple years.
