Shoud we get the Number One pick in the draft after the season is over (doesn't our season end on July 1, 2019?) will that guarantee us a winning record next season? No. Does it guarantee the guy selected signs with us? Would you? No. Why would ANY guy sign with an organization that can't develop position players and cant help pitchers to reach their potential? Seems to me tha tif I was selected by this organization in the draft, I'd decline to sign and go into next years draft. Yeah, I might lose a lot of money initially, but in the long haul, having another organization work with me to be successful probably would get me more money.
This organization sucks. Always has, always will!

Sheesh this is some meltdown for a routine loss. I'm guessing if by some miracle we get the top pick he would sign for the silly money offered his way and the fact that we are in a rebuilding phase with some damn good prospects in the pipeline. Think sometimes people mix MLB with NFL or NBA. A top pick next year will likely not play for the team till at least 2022 and probably beyond.

He is in the best shape looks wise since he has been here, yet he just wallows in mediocrity. As a straight pull hitter he has become a dinosaur unless mlb bails him out and bans the shift. Hey Corey’s brother, maybe you should adjust and take it the other way....meathead
