Thanks! I was born at 11:43pm so you only missed it by 14 minutes. :)

Did you cross the age threshold for being a member of the Mariner's bullpen?

Happy Birthday, Darren. You’re not getting older, you’re just getting more removed from the prospect of a Mariners’ World Series victory in your lifetime. ;)

Thanks, it was. Nice relaxing weekend at Ocean Crest resort in Moclips. Apparently they have a 3 pet maximum and when I was honest when checking out about having four dogs, the owner looked at me like I had been running an illegal prostitution ring in their hotel like two Dachshunds and two Rottie's was somehow a thousand times worse than one Dachshund and two rotties.

We spent over $800 in two days there but she made sure her employee tacked on another $30 for the 4th dog. We have probably spent over $5k there over the years but I hope they enjoy that last $30 they ever get from us. Penny wise pound foolish.

From the tacky look of the overcrowded lobby trying to sell any and all trinkets I'd say she needed your extra $30.

Otherwise, Happy B-Day!

So are you a June 23 birthday or a June 24 birthday?

June 24 is Charles Whitman's birthday, 1966 Texas Tower Shooter Boy.

But June 23 is Alan Turing's birthday, who led the Bletchley Park team that broke the Nazi Enigma code and put a serious hurt on Germany's plans for world domination.

What a difference a day makes.

Was this Number 51?

Your hair's not grey: it's chardonnay!

In Palm Springs, you are still considered an embryo. Hope you had or are having a good one and that we all have many good years left in case the POS Mariners decide to win a WS before we turn to dust.
