Trade Elias?
Re: Trade Elias?
Julie and I watched Knightly in Atonement in AZ when we were there for ST. Check that out.

Re: Trade Elias?
Keep Elias.
That Was Easy.
Doesn’t cost much, and is effective.
If you wanna jettison this kind of guy, then trade the whole team.

Those are some pretty good trade ideas.D-train wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 12:54 amElias trade ideas....

Brewers get Tom Murphy and R. Elias*******M's get #9 Brewers prospect Aaron Ashby
Ashby
Scouting grades: Fastball: 55 | Curveball: 65 | Changeup: 50 | Control: 45 | Overall: 50
Murphy Catcher .268 .297 .527 .823 118 OPS+ in 33 games .8 WAR He is not a free agent until 2024/ He would replace Pina 36 games 0 WAR
Elias: 123 ERA+ and multi-inning swing ability. Control cheap and not a free agent until 2022.
Ashby has 265 points on his line and Swanson has 260. Ashby is slightly better but not a top 100 type Swanson is a 45 overall so good not great pitching prospect in A ball. Injury risk, and still development hurdles to overcome. There is some projectable velocity the body build.
Like all things probably won't happen but interesting. I think this is like career mode Madden, where you can trade a bunch of $ vets for cheap young draft picks and build a dynasty. I think you could probably get an Elias for a less valuable prospect, same with a back-up catcher. It is nice to think about getting a semi-premium level prospect.

Re: Trade Elias?
They also got 2 great prospects.
Elias could help dump Dee Gordon in a package, or, he's probably one guy that could demand a decent prospect in return.
If you guys are concerned that the team won't reinvest that money into on field talent, then a trade for a decent prospect is still on the table, imo.
If it's for another Ben Gamel, Dylan Moore, Braden Bishop type of player, then, yeah, hard pass and let Elias play.
But, if he helps shed Dee Gordon or returns a decent prospect, SEE YA.

If some suckers want Gordon, they’d be crazy to give up much.bpj wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2019 5:04 pmThey also got 2 great prospects.

Yet another Jerry D deal that amounted to nothing.
Like Dyson, Martin, Valencia, Alonso, Karns, and on and on and on...
He raves about the new guys, then dumps em!
It’d be revealing to analyze his brain, but only an autopsy would reveal all!
Never understood how after 100 moves, you First need to “re-imagine.”
No other club does that.
