Regardless, the Seattle Mariners are the top-trending team in sports, according to Google's Year in Search:

Sign Bichette, let other prospects work it out and trade them for need
Laconic. You have an economy of words, desb.

And I could not agree with you more. Make Bichette the top priority and let prospects duke it out.

1. J.P. Crawford SS
2. Julio Rodríguez CF
3. Bo Bichette 2B
4. Cal Raleigh C
5. Josh Naylor 1B
6. Randy Arozarena LF
7. Dominic Canzone DH/RF
8. Ryan Bliss / Colt Emerson 3B
9. Victor Robles RF/DH

To be clear, this isn't "most searched", it's "biggest increase in search since last year".

Making it to the post season, and the "Cal Raleigh effect" figure prominently.

You can say Sign Bichette or make him the top priority but we all know that isn't going to happen. They aren't ever signing A list FAs under this regime.

Yes. Agreed. I said a couple of posts ago that this is wishful thinking and Bichette is almost certainly going to resign with the Blue Jays.

However, for the sake of armchair GMing (which is what 75% of this board involves), I'd agree with desb and make Bichette a top priority.
