Naylor has made a couple of throwing errors lately.....;

Starting out the game like a team on a losing streak. Horrible defense.

Man, Naylor is a HORRIBLE defensive first baseman, possibly the worst we've ever had. It's not going to be long before he has to be our DH. That's why his WAR is so low, to make himself worth it he needs to have an OPS in the .800 range.

Almost seems as though Donovan needs to DH. The dude is brittle. He has played in an average of 72% of his teams games played in the last four plus years. That is worse when you consider in 2024? He played in 153.
So,
126 out of 162 in 2022
95 out of 162 in 2023
153 out of 162 in 2024
118 out of 162 in 2025
25 out of 63 in 2025
Take out the outlier season of 2024?
You have an average of 113 games a season coming into this season. And if he played every game after today? He'd still only play in 124 this year. I am counting on him very little. I guess it's a good thing the young IFers seem up to the task. Call me very pleasantly surprised about that!

JP does it again! Unlike the Mets, the Mariners score REAL runs!

Makes you wonder if we shouldn't have pursued Marte instead, although his .771 OPS at Arizona thus far this season would translate to dogshit in Seattle.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2026 7:54 pmAlmost seems as though Donovan needs to DH. With only one challenge left that was a bad challenge by Arozarena, thankfully we lucked out, especially if Raley tags one.

Scary 1st with the Mets letting us shit ourselves (thanks, Josh), Kirby not credited with an earned run, at least.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2026 7:58 pmJP does it again! Unlike the Mets, the Mariners score REAL runs!
JP puts us back to zeros.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Absolutely this team has so much power and it's finally being unleashed. Peralta looked tough there but worked his pitch count. Gave Kirby some rest now time to find a rhythm!!DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2026 7:58 pmJP does it again! Unlike the Mets, the Mariners score REAL runs!
