The moment Darrell Bevill made the worst play call in NFL history has to be number one. Number two for me has to be the Blazers blowing that big 4th quarter lead to the Lakers back in 92 or whenever. And as bad as getting blown out by 22 may be, it has to rank behind the time I went to bed with the M's up like 15-0 and woke up to find they lost...

I don't remember that Apple Cup, because I was 5. But it sounds like it was great.

It was a typical Cougar Apple Cup victory where they had to rely on the Huskies to win for them. Even the 0-12 Dawgs were better than the Cougs that season and had to literally hand them a freebie. Rarely have the Cougars ever actually straight up beaten the Huskies.

I have to confess, i was at a homedepot when he missed that FG. But it was strange, they had the broadcast on the PA system. The whole store just went silent.

It was a terrible play call but I still give most of the blame to RW. Sam gets destroyed for throwing regular season picks and he tries to force one into a tight window at the absolute worst possible time in NFL history. And he gets ZERO blame! If he properly recognizes that the play isn't unfolding as expected he simply pump fakes and walks into the end zone at the right pylon. Game over. We win and I party til 4am with 25 of my friends instead of standing alone in my empty house staring at the TV in stunned disbelief after my guests exited the home like the place was on Fire.

Yes, audible or don't make the throw....but the head scratching nature of the play is just so Pete and Bevell.

1. They did have a big WR that could have been a target for a jump ball. Chris Mathews. They were asked about this and the coaches said he didn't know the two minute offense. The problem is?

2nd QTR scoring: New England struck first on a Tom Brady 11-yard touchdown pass to Brandon LaFell. Seattle answered with a Marshawn Lynch 3-yard rushing touchdown. Brady then threw a 22-yard touchdown to Rob Gronkowski, but Seattle tied it 14-14 right before halftime on an improbable 11-yard pass from Russell Wilson to Chris Matthews.

So, the two minute offense is different in the first half? Got it. Fucking asswipes.
2. The play was designed to go to Lockette. Not Lockett...but Lockette. You know, the guy on the team because he could cover punts! He was the worst WR to take the field that day, for either team.
3. The play design called for Jermaine Kearse to out physical Brandon Browner, pushing him out of the play. Two problems, Browner aint being out physicalled by Kearse, and the ONLY thing Browner brought to the field that year was physicality.
4. The play was a slant. Russ had just thrown four INTs on slants in the NFCCG. Count them, one, two, three and four!
5. The ONLY reason we had to throw there was because we couldn't stop the clock because Pete Carroll and his staff might have been the worst at clock management and only had one timeout left. Belichek didn't play into their hands and didn't call his own timeouts.

Epic and collosal failure on the part of the coaching staff, compounded by Russ the Robot just running the play. Players make physical mistakes, that shit happens. That coaching staff was ridiculously inept in games. Good at roster build, motivation, all that shit. In game? Remember the time we lost to Green Bay because we went in there with a below average defense and run game and tried to grind it out? Remember when we started the season like 7 and 2, but Pete was uncomfortable winning in shoot outs, so we finished lilke 5 and 4 and lost a home playoff game? But at least Pete was comfortable. Remember when we went to Carolina and decided that we needed to go back to the style of play that didn't work, then in the second half nearly erased a 31 to 0 deficit by going back to what worked?

I was so tired of watching that staff coach my favorite team it was disgusting. I heard that MM said during Hard Knocks that he had to learn to call the game to win, instead of calling the game not to lose. Pete Carroll should have "I tried not to lose" on his fucking tombstone.

Good catch! I had bought my first house, in wedgewood, $12,000. I was working on it. It would have been the Ernst in Westwood Village, i was just above it. I could hear the siren from my house. I had combined it with memories of the store at the Sicks stadium site. That was actually an Eagles, i lived close to that one later. My brain feels a little twisted from that

My parents bought their house in Lynnwood in 1965 for $19k. In 2003 I bought a condo across the street from Gasworks. It came with a parking spot. I had a roommate that needed a spot so I asked about the monthly rent for one. They said we don't rent them but you can buy one for $19k. lol

Its a funny story. I was a kid, i was living at home. I dont think i had a job geez. My dad is trying to get rid of me. The mortgage payment was $125 a month. My dad was in real estate and swung it. I wasnt really excited about buying but it was cheaper than i could find a rental. It was unreal, $300 in closing and down payment, FHA. That was such a financial beginning for me, began my life of real estate speculation. Whats interesting, the day after the closing the listing agent came with another offer. A $1,000 over whatever additional costs id have to sell it again. That to me had to be the OG first shot of that coming real estate boom. That was it. But i needed to get out of the house so i turned it down

Our room here in Cancun is over $1000 a night with a swim up pool. I only pay $400 every two years. Got this time share in 2011. Times shares get a bad rap but we couldn't be happier.
