It is interesting that while the M's have developed pitching, they have never really had a quality bullpen arm that has been homegrown under Jerry the Dip....at least I can't remember one besides/since Diaz.
Matt Brash
Matt Brash needs a bionic elbow and shoulder and arm.
June 4, 2019: Drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 4th round of the 2019 amateur draft. Player signed June 10, 2019.

September 17, 2020: the San Diego Padres sent Matt Brash to the Seattle Mariners to complete an earlier deal made on August 31, 2020. August 31, 2020: The San Diego Padres sent a player to be named later to the Seattle Mariners for Taylor Williams.

Pereda makes a huge base running mistake that cost us an extra run as well. Horrible ending.

They outscore the A's by 17 and still lose the series. Had they swept, as they easily should have, they would be very much alive just 3 back of Houston.

This team is fucked.

I’d trade the entire pitching staff for Butler.

We’d win more games.

Arozarena homered immediately after it happened. To be fair, he may not have gotten the same pitch.
