Let's hope Mallex Smith reinvented himself and is now good.

Elsewhere in the mighty AL West today, the A's took out their frustratilon on the Tigers 16-3, and Texas crushed KC 17-1. Gallo homered and went 4-5, to raise his average to .269. Odor went 3-5 to raise his average to .167. Lance Lynn was sharp again.

The Astros and Angels are apparently doing non-baseball-related things today. We can crawl to within 7 games of the Astros with a victory tonight, with the rest of the division right on our tails.

Gotta say, I’m not looking forward to watching Cruz in the batter’s box, that’s The guy I wanted to keep.

When do you think he will be in the batter's box given he isn't in the lineup?

Pineda and Swanson are pretty much matching pitch for pitch. See if Erik can get through the bottom of the Twins order and start to face the top for a second time with success.

Good evening forum.

Is there anything special about Swanson? Other that a warm body?
I can't remember him doing anything better than average.
Is there anyone in minors we can look forward to seeing pitch in the near future?
What about that kid from the Yankees we got?!
