Our FA signing last off season were:

Yusei Kikuchi JPN SEA 27.8 L L SP 15
Tim Beckham BAL SEA 29.2 R R INF 99
Jose Lobaton NYM SEA 34.4 S R C 99
Tommy Milone WSH SEA 32.1 L L SP 99
Hunter Strickland SF SEA 30.5 R R RP 99
Cory Gearrin OAK SEA 33.0 R R RP 99
Zac Rosscup LAD SEA 30.8 R L RP 99
Ichiro Suzuki

WTF did we get out of that.
We got brutalized watching Cory Gearrin painstaking approach to pitching, we saw a love affair betwixt Kikuchi and Suzuki, we got a few innings out of Tommy Milone, and a butcher with an iron skillet for a glove manning shortstop..... Oh, did you mean baseball production?
You forgot that glorious moment in Japan when Ichiro strode off the field after his 8th and final worm burner to the 2B to the roars of adoring groupies....

I am down with cutting all those guys loose.
The trades? Sure, for the most part.
I kinda like Teheran. 4/50M
Vizcaino 2/10M
is a decent bet for back of the BP rebound.
But the rest are eeeeeeh.
Ross 5 M another injury bounce back prayer
TJ 4 M Loogy
SRod 2 M
Davis 2 M
That is 13 M for rainbows and vet unicorn pots O gold. Actually Vizcaino makes it 18 Million on spaghetti. 12 M on Teheran = 30M why not throw it at Cole for 1 5WAR +/-2?

I would rather go get Cole. BPJ!

But it is a year too early just give me the non tenders and the trades. This banks some ability to spend in the future and some lottery tickets.

First Cole would not come to Seattle at this time, secondly getting a player like Cole would move this franchise back ten years.... we'd be like the M's of Felix in his prime...hobbled with his contract and almost mediocre...a crappy team except on the nights that Cole pitches.... that's trying to build a team putting the cart in front of the horse....you go get dominant pitching when your position players are competitive

Cole Will go where he gets paid. The top two free agents last year ended up in Philly and San Diego.

The M's offense was respectable enough to be competitive in 2019. They scored 758 Runs. The Rays and the Indians each scored 769 runs and won 96 and 93 games respectively. The problem was our garbage staff gave up nearly 900 runs. The offense is OK and should improve into an above average lineup as our offensive prospects start to reach the big league in the next couple of years. I am not anywhere near as bullish on the Arms we have in our system. We are going to need to bolster the staff sooner or later. Might as well make a big splash now.

So we wasted millions in order to pick 6th instead of 5th.
