True story. Tommy John himself won more games after Tommy John surgery than before. Perhaps JD should send the entire Mariner pitching staff to surgery. The year and a half return timeline would perfectly fit our rebuild... :D

Sheesh, our best starter had Tommy John.

Obviously $3.5M was a stretch for the cubs. But $1.5 could ultimately be a steal. Your not out much if he doesn’t rebound. On the high side he was a serviceable pitcher and the A’s opening day starter

Yep, hey I just noticed you changed your handle back to the vintage old school version. Love it!

2M for a 95 ERA+ starter when he was healthy. I guess if he adds velocity and control he could be a gem.

I wonder who the other starter is?
Alex Wood I hope.

Guys coming off TJ surgery lately are almost like Colonel Steve Austin. Bigger, faster stronger than before. Hoping for the best but he is just filler for the most part.
Mike Leake is a POOR man's Mike Leake. Graveman is far from that durable. So no that's not even close of a comparison. When Graveman is on he's better than. But Mike Leake he is NOT.

Just make sure you send before you leave for Hawaii in case you are attacked by sharks or some of the beach creatures that you have sent me picks of. :)

Vogey will likely get one more shot. Hopefully he can replicate his hot start and not tank in 2020.

I don't mind the signing and if he has a decent year we could be flipped for yet more prospects.
