He's fooling the ump with all these pitches off the plate called as strikes.

Both Vogel and Seager got the same pitch, just outside. Seager's was strike 3, Voge's was ball 2, could have been strike 3.

They need to protect better with 2 strikes, especially with an inconsistent ump out there.

I vaguely knew the name was from literature and just googled it to remind me if it was and author or character or what and that dude comes up first.

He is actually the best DH in the league at the moment but obviously JD will get voted in.
