All of those except rats.

In the Tri-Cities near campus, we have a resident porcupine and we have a coyote and it is a Wile E.

I guess the pigeons are getting driven off or crowded out by the crows. I haven't been around Pioneer Square in a long time though so maybe they still reign supreme around there. And then there's the Dick's on Broadway....

The rats are making a comeback in Seattle, i think. Not as bad as L.A., though, where the bubonic plague is on the rise.

I did a report and that was a tidbit. Basically, there are several species that carry the plague from when the US was exposed during the last outbreak. The is a reservoir of carriers in the Rocky's. You will see a few cases of wildlife biologist investigating a cougar carcas and then ,,oops. :o

I would love to travel in time and go back to the Dark Ages with the Plague. Talk about stress. Puts modern day 1st world problems in perspective.

I have a lot of deer in my front yard. Sometimes they amble by in small herds. One of my goals in life is to pet one, probably a doe, not a buck.

Petting a buck would be like trying to rub Beltre's head.

Have them all, except rabbits, here in West Seattle. I have wound up being fascinated by the crows over the last several years.

Yes, crows are very bright, which is probably why they are slowly taking over the greater Seattle area.

Growing up in Shoreline from the mid 70's to the early 90's, and right on the edge of an undeveloped park (Hamlin), i also don't recall ever seeing Coyotes, rabbits, or deer. And very rarely did i see a crow. It was all squirrels and small birds, and some racoons that stayed up in the big trees on and around our property.

Now, i encounter crows everywhere and way more rabbits than i used to see. Seems odd.
I noticed that too and it wasn't as gradual. I come up there twice a year and stay at my mom's at Lake Tapps. I used to see squirrels and raccoons in her back yard all the time and the squirrels would come up to you for peanuts. Five or so years ago they were suddenly all gone and I haven't seen one since.
