Of course the Huge JP and JK band of groupies would riot if we traded either one of them.

Kelenic to me is a straight up bust. His value is likely falling from here, He isn’t really good defensively and probably not fit for center, which if that’s the logical conclusion than his bat will not fit at left. We will have Lewis to man cf and he no doubt will be back by opening day. No reason to waste what trade value boy wonder has right now....

Totally agree. Besides he grates on my nerves for some reason as well. I like Ty France's demeanor and is the antithesis of Mr. France.

We don't know if Dipoto would even target JRam, but we are closing in on some tangible offers... He'd be the first target for me.... because with that deal intact the rest of our needs fall into clarity.

Yes, I'm a JP groupie.... he's not the best shortstop around but he's improving and I'm a fan. He bats left. That's important. Seager isn't coming here.... Correa is right handed, Trevor Story bats right, Marcus Semien bats right, Jose Iglesias bats right, Javier Baez bats right, Paul DeJong bats right (he'd be a trade target), Andrelton Simmons bats right.....all these potentially impact shortstops and they are a dime a dozen cause they all bat right.... It's essential in today's game to have balance in the lineup... we have Haniger, France, Lewis, and Julio Rodriguez which could supply plenty of right hand punch...and behind that maybe developing Toro and Torrens....

And that's the reason I'm reluctant to jettison either JP or JK at this point...But whatever....

Yeah, I'd love to have Soto, Schwarber, C. Seager, Ohtani, Brantley, Votto, Harper....... Any two of those guys could transform and anchor our team, but we don't have 'em. It just seems like the Yankees, Padres, Blue Jays all suffered in the crunch cause they were too right handed....
How about we just let a little air out of the tires and go after Brian Reynolds and Matt Olson? or Cedric Mullins and Adam Frazier? Is left hand balance even a consideration?

That's why I like JRam so much. With him and Schwarber that gives you 3 lefties and potentially three Switch hitters.
