 Castillo pitched Saturday so he is set to pitch Friday. Gilbert pitched Saturday, RR pitched Sunday and Kirby pitches to night so any one of them can pitch Saturday. But who pitches Wednesday????? They need to go with a bullpen game because whoever starts Wednesday won't be able to pitch in the WC round.

Will they do the bullpen game Tuesday or Wednesday? Makes sense to do it Wednesday since Tuesday is a double header, and having 2 starters slated for those games puts less stress on the bullpen. They have a day off Thursday to rest the bullpen before game 1 presumably in Toronto.

RR hasn't been good his last four starts and Facing the Righty Stud hitters in Toronto like Springer, Vlad, Bichette, T. Hernandez and Chapman is not ideal...
Oddly, the Jays are worse against lefties than righties.
