Justus got roughed up a bit in the first, but would have been fine if Crawford was able to make the play.

38 pitches means he roughed himself up a bit all by his lonesome.

Yeah, a lot of 3-2 counts. He would have been out of it in about 20 pitches if Crawford makes that play though

Why bring Sheffield up to start a game in the majors when he couldn't even hack it in AAA? The guy stinks right now and a game like this can only damage his confidence. Stupid organization that never learns.

Oh, I forgot. They brought him up back in April. He went 3 innings in that one and, amazingly, threw 75 pitches!

He's really improved a lot!!
