I place the blame on Jerry, then Servais, then the players.

Jerry didn't put enough quality around the core. Everybody knew it.

Servais is a good buddy. Not much more.

The players were almost all having to play above their heads.

Geno, Ty, Cal, they're all guys that should be batting 6th in a lineup. Geno and Ty because theyre just meh hitters. Cal because hes a kid. They've had added pressure to be MOTO hitters because Dipoto skipped out on adding actual MOTO hitters.

In fact, 238 of Kelenics 401 plate appearances (59%) have been in the 3/4/5 holes in the lineup. Do you guys think that's pressure he needed this year?

Since it said should and will? I wasn’t sure how to answer. He’ll probably get scapegoated and fired, but he shouldn’t. This is on Jerry. I’m not even sure I blame the players much. Who underproduced? When you build an average roster, this is what you get. They are lacking in way too many spots.

France and Geno at the corners? Maybe they underproduced, but I just think they aren’t that good.
Kelenic as a Corner OFer? He’s not very good.
2nd base is a weaknesses and DH is a fucking blackwhole. The roster is what it is. IMO? It’s a miracle we are even still in contention.

I will bet my life that Jerry will never fire Scott.
