Same way you would normally. When a gut hits a fair ball or strikes out they know what the pitch was.

Sure, but when they strike out on a cutter that doesn't mean all the previous pitches in that at-bat were cutters.

Nice sunny day in Seattle but, knowing colder temps means less hitting, instead of playing in the early afternoon they schedule a night game. Dumb fucks.

Correct. Unless there is an out or a hit on the pitch it isn't included in the calculation.

Just Zero reason for Saturday night games especially when it is Arctic. Why would anyone want to wait around all day instead of go to a Sunny day game and then either go out or go home for dinner...
