When you need to bring in a Mariner from 20+ years ago to ignite passion your team, something is wrong.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 6:19 pmHe works for the mariners. Think we are getting a little carried away calling with the criticism
First and foremost, Cameron still works for the Mariners on special assignments, so he always makes a few appearances per year, which is great to see. Secondly, it's always fun to see alumni come back to support the organization and to connect with the players. That isn't the case in every organization but the M's do a good job (mostly) at allowing alumni access to players and coaches.
Fire instead of all smiles. It gets old watching Julio be so cool and suck so badly. So sick of this, Do other teams give so long of a leash with mediocre players, give the coldest guys on the team the 3 or 4 spot night after night and then bench the hottest hitter consistently. It just never seems to change just the excusesSeattle or Bust wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 7:21 pmWhen you need to bring in a Mariner from 20+ years ago to ignite passion your team, something is wrong.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 6:19 pmHe works for the mariners. Why can't the manager do it?
Why can't the players get in each other's faces and hold each other to account?
There's a problem with the Servais/Dipoto culture... always has been.
There's no accountability in this team... just players singing Kuymbaya and "helping each other with their swings on the plane and in the kitchen of hotels."
I wanna see some fucking fire for once.
