Just in case you guys forgot... Corbin ahs been more or less the worst pitcher in baseball over the past 3 years.
Last year against the M's, he was having a totally dogshit year but went 7 innings pitched, 5 hits, 0 ER's... far and away his best start of the year.
God we're trash.

You almost never see backward K's from breaking pitches...

I'm 57 years old and if I hit the ball with the same on-the-bat contact that Julio just did it's 1-0. But he did get his HR for the month yesterday so it's all good.

Thankfully their hitting velos were slower.
I went to a Mariners/Red Sox game in '99 and Pedro Martinez was on the bump. For the first 4 innings his fastball was about 92-93 but he managed to keep us off the scoreboard.
First pitch of the 5th inning, POP, 98, and this big GROAN went through the crowd. Ballgame.

Wholly fuck we actually executed a run thanx to some bad defense.
We thought Julio is bad. Acuna is having a very awful start and now leaves game with knee injury.
