Probably not but he's only here for one year. Bregman would have meant a 5 year deal with an overpay because of T-Mobile, and then if the player fails, like he mostly likely would have, that's when you're really fucked.

Yep we have only been fucked one year at a time for the last three seasons and like will be fucked again in 2025. At least whoever sign Bregman will likely have a couple good years out of him.

I don't think we would have gotten any good years out of him.D-train wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 1:30 amYep we have only been fucked one year at a time for the last three seasons and like will be fucked again in 2025. At least whoever sign Bregman will likely have a couple good years out of him.

So the bastard turns down a six year deal with a perennial world series contender?
How could he make ends Meet making a mere 26 million a year?
Hopefully the Houston fans will give him as nice a reception as we gave A-Rod.

Three years, 120 million. I think he'll be pretty good for the Red Sux for all three years. Not 40 million good, or even 30 million good, but at least borderline All-Star caliber. Definitely wouldn't have been a good contract for us. I just wish we'd gone after Pete Alonso.
Re: About Bregman and Boras
The Red Sox have put together a pretty good team at this point.
One more team the Mariners would have to beat out for the wild card.
I don't recognize half the names on their team still, but their people seem pretty excited.
