Yeah, bringing haniger back was a popular move with the players. Hadn't thought about it that way. Dipoto trying to win over the clubhouse

That wouldn’t make them any money, so they sell water at the price of wine.D-train wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2024 4:23 pmIt has been brilliant frankly, shedding Marco and White while only giving up Bitch Wonder. My God. Won't be surprised they sell water that turns into wine at T Mobile concessions this season.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2024 3:31 pmDipoto did something I don't believe I have seen mentioned. He cleared like $75 mil in future obligation by moving Ray. Which just might open the door to signing....Snell?
I'm impressed with how Dipoto has been able to move contracts. I think he's done a pretty good job so far this off season

Perhaps Mitch Haniger will be a valuable clubhouse presence but not a starting outfielder.
Instead Haniger could be a late-inning pinch hitter for Dominic Canzone or Luke Raley against a tough lefty reliever (on top of giving Mitch Garver an occasional break at designated hitter).

Yeah I have him with 80 starts in RF. That might be aggressive.harmony wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 4:16 pmPerhaps Mitch Haniger will be a valuable clubhouse presence but not a starting outfielder.

I'm hoping Mitch can be the guy we've been missing. If he can stay healthy and actually produce for 120+ games I like our chances.D-train wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 4:57 pmYeah I have him with 80 starts in RF. It is nice to know that Moore, Canzone and Haggerty are the back end of the roster now. That's a pretty high floor imo!

I always liked him. Was sad to see him traded. But I also wasn't one of the guys that wanted him executed by firing squad because like everyone else we had? He couldn't get Alvarez out. LOLCoeurd’Alene J wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 11:22 pmRobbie interview
