FYI this is the guy who has given up 17 hits and 13 runs in 4 innings.
And he gets really lucky.

Cantzone is losing his job. Clase is earning it. Great 2 strike hitter. Really makes hard contact. Got doubled up but Rojas stung that. Great to see Julio really start raking. Homers will come!

I get we're playing an inferior team this evening, and it's cold, but it is impressive that Mariner batters have K'd only one time this game. That's the best sign yet that they're controlling the zone.
I wouldn't mind experimenting with Clase leading off, Rojas in the 2-hole and Julio hitting 3rd. Yes, JP to the 9-hole is not a bad idea.
