Asstros are taking a win so barring a miracle this season is over. Well there's always next year. Can't wait to see how we fuck that up should be fun.
Keeping Scott and Defart around for way too long killed this season. Should have made a change during all star break. This franchise will never be good until they have an owner who cares.

At this point it won't surprise me if they do the unexpected and make the playoffs.
A $10 bet on Draftkings pays out $150 right now if they make the playoffs. Might as well make it interesting if it's going to come down to the final series!

Honestly it feels like that should be paying out more. fangraphs has them at a 4% chance to make the playoffs. that's a 1 in 25 chance. $10 should be paying out more like $250 to make it a fair bet. I guess that's how they make money.

But I think the Mariners and Dipoto deserve to make the playoffs 0%. They don't deserve it. At all.
Which is exactly why I think they have closer to a 100% chance to make it..
Such a disappointing season. So it only makes sense that they pull off the unexpected (and undeserved), and make the playoffs.

It would be like last season and the flaccid Diamondbacks backing their way into the playoffs.
Nice to get lucky, but everyone knew they didn't belong there.
