The guy is right that you don't typically have a catcher catch a ball down the 3B line... idk if it's b/c of the mitt, but it's generally just going to be a weird angle for a catcher to come in.

That should be Polanco's ball 100% of the time. Perhaps the lack of reps at 3B led to not taking over that ball.

This Murdock guy making his MLB debut was an amazing find by the A's. He's definitely a future hall of famer and not only looking good because he's facing the Mariners.
