WEEKEND PLANS
I will set up the contest between MM & DT which will decide the title. I would have loved to do it as some kind of Matchplay contest, but it will have to stay strokeplay.

PGA WEEKEND CONTEST
I run a separate contest underneath

> The 6 protagonists with 2 players will compete for the Weekend Championship
> These will include DT & MM, who still have 3 players, so the best 2 of 3 players will count for each.
> Scores already accrued will count towards the scoreboard

The leaderboard is a work in progress, I will get it working tomorrow.

Now I'm off to the game.

Go Ms......
You got to see a great ballgame, Mike, and brought us a victory.

I think Lowry is almost as upset as me about that stupid embedded ball that cost him the cut
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

I don't mind that I'm eliminated. As I don't follow golf that much it was more of a guessing game as to whom I picked for my team.
May the battle over the next 2 days be legendary between Darren and you.

What do you think about next tourney having protagonists pick 6 golfers? It may allow a slightly larger % of us to have 3 make the cut...or not.
We could even keep it at $100 pound/dollar "allowance" or up it to $110.

Just thinking of a way to keep more forum players in the hunt on Day 3, at least.

Agree, it does look as if you need to pick 6, I will possibly start the top end of players at 85 Dollarpounds. I do try and tinker with the costings based on the odds each tournament. We need more selection of 20 to 30 Dollarpound players to make it work. That's a definite plan for the (British) Open.

And check out the leaderboard I've added the weekend 2 player contest. Still something to play for.

Well it has been decided then, the SIX protagonists who got at least 2 players through will be competing for the Dipoto Shield. Remember there is actually a decent prize to be won - the draft order for next month's US Open is riding on this.

Hilarious is that about the only good luck I've had the past couple years is winning these golf contests. With no prize money. Lol

The stats after round 3. Looks like Juliooooo is putting himself in pole position for 3rd selection in the US Open draft.

I best start thinking about another set of complicated rules.... :D
