Among player types, that's always how I'll err. Power puts runs on the board. Speed hands the torch to somebody else.
Mallex and Vogel bach are both expendable if not close to useless for me...
It's called passing the buck.
Quick check shows Vogelbach grounded into double plays 4 times in 2019 compared to Mallex Smith with 7 and Dee Gordon with 8. Vogelbach was 9th on the team.![]()

Bundy with his third career complete game against a lineup designed to lose on purpose. Hope he sends Servais a thank-you card. I bet Maddon wouldn't put a lineup like that in the field if he were the Mariner skipper.

That seals the deal. I am no longer a Mariners fan. I’ve been a fan since 1972 and a season ticket holder since 1976. I officially will not be renewing my plan next season nor will I watch on tv ever again.

Even without the worst won-loss record thats not a surprise. There are going to be days where the young lineup gets totally overmatched and our awful pitching totally caves in. Frankly, im surprised we haven't seen any 15-1 beat downs yet.BaseHitDerby wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 10:42 pmWorst run-differential in all of baseball now at already -31.
