True, I think it's part of why players get $25M instead of $50M. Has to be some upside left on the bone for the team and account for DOWN scenarios.

$200M for Semien is fantasy land starting price imo.

The $150/5 feels like a slight overpay, I'm guessing he ends up around $130-$150M.

Marcus is a middle infielder with two big years with the bat. He is already post 30 (31). Those big years were only in the 130's. He was not an ARod 174, Carlos C 155 peak, Cal Ripken 162, Cano 148, Altuve 160, and it is not just that the peak is not as high as these guys it is the consistency of the big numbers

so something like 4 to 7 X 20-something million and I am thinking 22-27 based on number of years. More years you go down the scale.
