Again leave him alone unless it's for a save. Stanek for tomorrow but never again in a tied game. I hate that kinda move. Your a closer for a reason. To close games not win games. Much better focused so glad last night did not bother him. Thornton deserves a huge credit as well. Stopping the bleeding in the 8th where it could have gotten really bad. This far bullpen bending but holding on still missing 2 big pieces. Got a huge much needed win 10 hits 5 runs gotta build on this!

Jk with a 3 hit game. 3rd double. Just needed to where he knows he can win. Horrible horrible trade unless both those guys come back strong.

Seth is correct, he is actually significantly worse in a tie game that any other situation other that a couple dozen meaningless PA in a greater than four run margin.
