The stats after round 3. Looks like Juliooooo is putting himself in pole position for 3rd selection in the US Open draft.

I best start thinking about another set of complicated rules....

I had never heard of snake draft until i just googled it. It's all about how quickly we can get people making their picks. WallaWalla would probably be on the clock for about 3 weeks.

But with unique players there will be no need for prices and we could just revert to the standard 3 but then replace with subs after the cut. That was my early thoughts.

Give a 3-4 hour window, then pick for them based off ranking. Start a week early. I say you have to draft 6, then take the top 2-3. I think we’ll have a better chance of having 3 guys move on when we aren’t limited to only a few top players

I think i will do a mock draft in this thread at some point. We might get away with 5 picks because it's unlikely we will diving in the dumpster.

And there will be no harm allowing a sub after Rd 2 because the top 50 players or so will already be selected.

Tourney is 12th to 15th June so i am aiming to post it 1st June, and DT will have to make first pick around Saturday 7th.

Hey, hey, hey!!! But I love to be recognized.

I don't like the idea of a draft at all. That would mean that we are all dependent on everyone meeting their timeline, and mine would depend on my work schedule.

I really like this current format with a few tweaks:
$120 to spend
6 picks
-Keep it at 3 to make the cut


I do think it's a bummer that my top two players both were eliminated at +2.
Thomas at +2
Aberg at +2

And my two 'clown' picks made the cut.

Don't worry, we will sensible about the times - you will be fine. After all, I'm 8 hours ahead of many in here so if someone picks at 5pm PDT, that's 1am for me and everyone goes on hold for a few hours. As long as we start picking from the Saturday beforehand that gives us 5 days. You could always Direct Message me your order of preference and I will post for you.

Unique players is definitely a good way to go for one tourney per year. Have a look at my suggested plan on the previous post - everyone will have to make 2 blocks of picks.

Should be do-able.

The British Open will have to follow this format with 6 picks. I can just adjust down the prices and start top players at 80 for example

We can always have you send a list and have them pick the top available guy on your list.
