I don't know why, but it seems to be a lost art in the game anymore. You rarely see that in today's game anymore for whatever reason.

Well on a hit & run the idea is for the batter to hit the ball the other way or behind the runner, so if the opposing team was using the shift, that would work in favor of the hit & run.

I think when rosters expand, we should play all the kids that come up and sit the regulars. We could still get a good draft choice. And even though Dipshito isn't the greatest at drafting, you have to figure that even a broken clock is right twice a day.
