The Mariners scored 9 of their 10 runs off of home runs. Not sure that's a winning formula.
It's not. They've got to get more guys in the lineup that can string hits together.

Mike Ford and TT vs Tommy Boy and AJ Pollock seems like a nice switch up.
Can't fit both in the lineup unless you bench Teo or France....

I don't have a problem with it
The key to winning baseball games is pitching, fundamentals, and three run homers.

Not a bad idea. Then we can get rid of Wong, too!

Put France at 2B.
This has been the answer since two years ago when they could have added Freddie Freeman or Matt Olson at 1B, but instead of using the versatility they already had in-hand with France, they pigeonholed him at 1B then went looking for versatility under every swamp rock out there.

It can be, you should see all the home runs Tampon Bay is hitting in getting to their 23-6 record.

How about this for irony. The brought in Wong and kept France at 1B because of defense but Wong had a terrible defensive year last year this year he has shockingly sucked again defensively....

With that lineup the Mariners might score -3 runs today.
This did not age well!
