It sounds though that they just don't like Casas. Maybe they're wrong about that, I don't really know. But if they fundamentally don't like the player, then I wouldn't expect them to make that move.

Yeah, I suppose when they can just turn around and sign Walker Buehler for one year instead of an aging Castillo for three, they can ask for whatever they want.

They had no motivation to sell, because they actually do what needs to be done in free agency.
