Here you asked about Jack and I responded:

There are some names there worth watching for sure. Tell me more about Marlow and Rienheimer. Not as familiar with them
Shenton is #19 at the moment but could move up close to the top 10. Filia is so old he could be Marte's Dad. He is what he is and zero power will get him nowhere while only being able to play Power positions. He has been in the org almost a a decade and if he can't hit for power now he never will. DeLoach is my guy. Jack R had a good ST but he is just a guy as his bad start to the season is showing. He won't get called up unless there are injuries.
Yeah. Marlowe has been worth watching though. Interested to see if he can keep raking in high A once he gets the call up. He's been pretty impressive for a 20th round pick.

Yep him, Jack Larsen and Scheiner are the three under the radar guys I track every morning.

Filia should become a catcher. Even a 4A player who can hit the ball and play catcher is the quickest way to the show.. Look at Austin Nola for proof of what you can do.

That is his only hope.

Scheiner was on my radar when he was first traded for. He really picked things up the second half of the season after we got him for Bruce. Still worried about his K rate is sitting around 33 % right now. Hopefully he can bring that down a bit without losing the hard hit rate he's had.

Jake Scheiner didn't get a lot of love when Mariners got him for Jay Bruce, but he's been pretty good in Modesto. Since June 7 he's hit .277/.320/.476/.796. That is before today in which he is so far 2-3 with this bomb...

Marinerjim was rightfully worried about his K/BB ratio at the time as well

The only thing that concerns me about Scheiner is his strike out to walks. 49 strikeouts and only 8 walks. However that said last year he had 49 BB and only 81 strikeouts.

Makes sense. Unheralded corner position players with sub 800 OPS are definitely below my radar.

Bummer that Then has had a bad start. Need to get that EE trade back in business....

I enjoyed those 65 games and 21 HRs EE put up not to mention that Parrott. God that was great when you think about it.

Well, thats why I don't just look at overall numbers and I look at trends. While his 2019 numbers weren't great, he was .271/.828 in Modesto in 2019 after being traded. The first part of the season .256/.680 before being traded. Like I've said, for some players it takes time to adjust to a new level.
