IMO, this is a lot of complaining about the wrong thing. The 8th and 9th it is supposed to be Munoz and Sewald. EITHER ONE OF THEM DO THEIR JOB? Game over and Ray never pitches. They both sucked and the bottom fell out. It was very interesting listening to Jeff Passan this morning on Brock and Salk basically saying the same thing. Walking Alvarez wasn't a good option as the winning run is now one base with Bregman up, you know, the guy that just homered off our best reliever? In his words, a national guy, not some local guy that has been burnt by the Mariners in the past or the most recent Seahawk playoff losses, "there is no good option to pitch to Alvarez. You have to make sure you don't get to him". Genius. Yep, expect the guys PAID to do this to be able to get five outs in the next nine hitters. Nope, just asking too much I guess. :o

Munoz not only gave up the hit to Alvarez, he got hammered by Bregman and then gave up another hit to ensure the top of the Astros order would come up. Sewald was worse, drilled one rookie on a full count and hung a pitch to another rookie on a one and two count. Ridiculous. Pena should have never got to hit, let alone Alvarez! Shit, Altuve never should have got to hit. Do your fucking job! Hand that part of the bullpen a four run lead and we can't hold it?
