It would be really nice to take the game on Sunday. The M's have the 5th best record in the AL but it looks like they may have to win the West if the Yanks, and O's keep their pace up in the East and the Royals, and Cleveland clubs keep it up we will need to win the division. And don't look now but the Astros have won 6/7 and 8/10 after their slow start.
I looked before this win is in we had a 98OPS+ offense and a 108 ERA+ defense. We need to keep winning!
Astros have the world's easiest schedule coming up for some reason:
3x Angels, 3x A's, 3x St Louis, 3x Angels, 3x San Fran, 3x Detroit, 3x White Sox over their next 28 games...
I wouldn't doubt that they're in first place after this stretch... and potentially by a gap.
