#8 now on pace for 24 wins. Those picking in the teens in the contest are going to start dropping like flies in the next week or so. I need them to play 1 game over .500 to win it. We are 8-4 in our last 12 games.
8-4. That includes one ego-bruising 16-3 blowout. Good teams shake that off and win the next two games against the same opponent.

We are missing some really good players. Moore, Hanniger, Graveman, Mr. Murphy. Ahh, what could have been...

Yeah, think of all the trades Dipoto could have done today otherwise.

True. Jerry could have out-traded Preller, who was involved in the movement of a scant 22 bodies...

I'm disappointed in the Haniger situation.

Getting a return from Walker eases that pain a little, but still, Haniger was worth more than anyone else on the team when he was healthy.

The return could have been impressive, imo.

Ironic that we were able to trade the guy that we traded for Haniger before we can trade Haniger.....

Hadn't thought about that. I really wanted them to trade Haniger before 2019 season. It was a rebuild, and he was their best trade chip. I know that Atlanta was interested. I'd be curious to see if they made an offer, and what it was

Bump on this thread. Tank is all but over. One possible drawback of winning so many games, Rangers are full steam ahead in their tank, and within a game of the worst record in MLB. They may very well end up with one of the 2 Vanderbilt pitchers.

tankathon is over now. Might as well make the playoffs if your going to win this many games. Three games behind Houston for the second spot out of the west and also 3 games behind New York for the second wild card. I wonder if the trade deadline was this week instead of last week if Dipoto would have held on to Walker?

How is this team winning after trading away their 3rd best hitter (Nola) and #2 starting pitcher? Really annoying. :x
